After a restful and much-needed spring break, Northeastern Mockers were ready to jump into action for ORCS and our program’s end of the year events this March!

AMTA’s Opening Round Championship Series

For the first time in program history, Northeastern sent two teams to compete at the Opening Round Championship Series! On March 15-16th, Teams “The Whole Truth” and “Nothing But the Truth” traveled to Iona University to compete for a bid to nationals. We had a blast competing against some highly ranked teams in the nation!

Our own witness Gabby Tanen won an All-National Witness Award (16 ranks)!

End of the Year Banquet

Following tradition, we held our annual end of the year banquet. We gave out silly superlatives, reminisced on funny moments throughout the year, and of course, recognized our seniors.

Thank you for everything seniors! We appreciate all you’ve done for this program throughout the years and we wish you luck on the next step of your lives!

We wrapped up March with some edits to our by-laws and e-board nominations (fun stuff). So proud of everyone for all the work we’ve put into this competition season. 2024-2025 is going down in history!
